Granddaughter Savannah’s 6th. Birthday

Last Sunday we celebrated our youngest Grandchild’s birthday. Savannah turned 6 this day.

It wasn’t a large party, but from all the gifts received you would think there were a house full of people here to celebrate.

She enjoyed opening all her gifts. Some were (boring) clothes, some really neat toys, and of course CASH. I still think she would rather have the toys than cash, but her mom, Tina, said this way she can take her to the toy store and help her pick out something she would really like.

Of course we had to have Opapa, (Great Grandpa, my dad) here to enjoy this time with the family. I think he really had a good time. The pictures show him with his winter coat still on. He seems to always be cold, so he said he would rather keep it on then to be cool. Even at his home were he keeps it 73 he is cool you will find him with his thick sweater on.

Here is Opapa watching Savannah open her gift from him.

Giving Opapa a kiss of thank you.

After opening the presents, it was “Cake & Ice Cream” time. It was cute watching her blow out, or should I say try to blow out her candles. It took several tries, but she managed to get all 6 of them out.

Another great memory….

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.
