This morning around 10am, Joe, my friend and camping buddy, came over to take measurements for a new cabinet where the old TV was.
I removed the old TV, and as the opening won’t fit the new LED TV’s I needed Joe’s expertise. He works with wood as a hobby. Makes some great furniture!
As you see here the TV is now removed and I’m getting ready to remove the steel structure that held it in place.
A close up of the frame. You can see the back side of the running lights sticking through the blown in insulation.
Here is what it looks like now with the steel structure removed. Had to use the Saws-All to do the cutting.
The new cabinet should enclose all that you see above and extend from the present two cabinets. Plus we are not going to drop it lower than the two cabinets, which will stop all future head banging.
Around noon Wilma and I went over to see Denise. Comcast was scheduled to install her cable internet connection between noon and 3pm.
It was hooked up and she was online by 2pm. Wilma and I set up a new Yahoo Email and messenger account for her. I think she was pretty impressed with the new service compared with dial up.
Tomorrow the family will be over for our annual Easter egg hunt and Chicken dinner. Hope the weather holds up as nice as it has for the last few days.
Until next time, be safe and God Bless.
