A Birthday Party And Another Batch Of Salsa

Last Saturday, we celebrated Tina’s 40th birthday. Family and friends were invited to the house for a dinner and festivities.

Happy Birthday Tina!

For a week prior to the party Tina was a little apprehensive. Then as it got closer to the party day, she became more excited.

The Birthday Girl arrives.

And of course you can't celebrate your 40th birthday without a lot of jokes coming your way.  And Tina took it in stride and enjoyed every minute of the party.

Our photographer for the evening

Angel our eldest daughter and family jokester, was our photographer for the evening. The photo above shows  how she took a picture of herself with the camera upside down.

A Thank You to all from Tina.

A wonderful fun time was had by all in attendance. It was close to midnight before the party ended, and Sunday was spent getting the house back in order. My best friend Gary brought us an assorted bag of peppers, and a large bag of tomatoes from his garden.

Bag of peppers. Those yellow ones are SUPER HOT!!!!

I took all the tomatoes and made fresh salsa on Monday. For his contribution, I am giving him 5 quarts of Salsa. That should last for a few weeks Winking smile

Two and a half gallons of SalsaTomorrow morning I will be going to Tina’s home to do some repair in the basement. Seems that a couple lights near her washer quit working. Hopefully it won’t take too long to get everything back in working order. Then on Wednesday I’m planning on going over to Angel’s home to do some carpet cleaning. Don't know what I'm going to do on Thursday and Friday but I'm sure we will find something.

So until next time, be safe and God Bless
