Storms-n-Doc’s

We had another storm pass through the other evening. It brought not only heavy rain but hail and wind gusts of 70 MPH. This time it spared my trees, but my neighbor had a branch broken out of his Maple tree land on his porch.

Next door Neighbor's Randy is always working in his yard and has won the annual “Best Yard” award several years now. I just had to kid him about how this will give him a challenge to win the award again this year. He’s a great guy and we all had to laugh about it.

Been getting our regular Doctor’s visits taken care of. Had my last visit to the back surgeon yesterday. I told him I have no pain, just the numbness on the bottom of my right foot. He said that it usually takes 6 months for a complete recovery, and that I had a 50/50 chance that the numbness would go away. If not it would be from permanent nerve damage from the bone spur that he removed that was growing into the nerve. I mentioned about not having much strength in the right ankle and didn’t know if it was related to the back surgery or the hip replacement. He feels it is also related to the back and the same nerve. The numbness is nothing compared to the pain I had before the surgery. He lifted all restrictions and told me that he didn’t need to see me again. I thanked him for all that he did for me, telling him he was my hero which brought a big smile to his face.

Even our Pug, Kybee needed to be taken to the Vet. He started shaking his head back and forth several times a day. We recognized the symptom as another ear problem like he had in Florida last December. Off we went and yes he has another ear yeast infection in both ears. Medicine was prescribed and he seems to be doing much better now.

Kybee-001 We are starting to get ready for our Annual “Camping with the Grandkids”. They look forward to this event each year, and so do Na-Na and Pa!

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.
